Acquiring property was the true marker of the foundation of society: it took great progress and lengths to acquire this idea of property; It was with purse sensation that allowed man to discover the idea of property and ownership. It was little advances such as the ones mentioned above that later enabled man to make more rapid advances: (ie, language, the more the mind became enlightened, the more society became perfected" (complex, in this case) Another source of humans downfall = conveniences. Society created inequality because it created social rankings: preferences and desirable traits that were seen as favourable". Nothing is as so pure as man in his innocent state: as they are limited by instinct and reason, nature restrains him and allows him to do no harm unto others; natural man"s greatest strength = pity. All the stuff that society has created has ultimately led to man"s egocentrism. This includes: agriculture, language, the arts, property distribution, wealth.
