Difference b/w gathering information and engaging with the material. Reading is something you do every day, so it is not something you should be wary of; You are likely required to do more reading @ university than before. Reading can fulfil a variety of purposes. University requires different kinds of reading, important for you to work out what is required and how to best achieve it. Away from facts & answers ideas & arguments. Most likely assessed on your ability to discuss, think, engage, & debate. Reading is the start of the process (reading critically: tool for developing own thinking, question reading"s content, methods, assumptions, & conclusions. Question why you are reading it & make connections to course.
