Examples: selling a proposal to management, settling a labour dispute, buying real estate, obtaining a new car. Employee empowerment: refers to a management style that gives subordinates substantial discretion as to how they accomplish their objectives. Empowered employees: have greater authority within their individual jobs. Work process a set of interrelated tasks that aim to produce a defined output. Engagement with negotiating participants: compromise, concessions, strong-arming, bluffing, making offer and counter offers.
