Difference between paranoid type of schizophrenia and paranoid personality disorder: do not include hallucinations like paranoid type of schizophrenia, their suspicions do not reach delusional proportions. Treatment: first step is to build a therapeutic alliance, provide an atmosphere conducive to developing a sense of trust, cognitive therapy, schizoid personality disorder.
