Victims of sexual assault in the workplace: some women are treated inappropriately at work, touching, jokes, a lot of women do not report it in fear of losing their job or making their job more unbearable. Justice system response: 16 percent of sexual assaults are unfounded, clearance rate has been decreasing making charges more likely to be laid, if offender goes to court then likely to get a conviction. Sexual assault of males: most safe havens are made for females, or advertised that way, women"s houses, men were at one point not able to be raped and thus were not able use the same resources, stigma. Chapter 5 homicide: 4 types of offences included in the homicide category, 1st degree murder, 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, infanticide.
