I. 1: what is the subfields of anthropology: cultural anthropology, linguistic, biological, archaeology. Human as an organism affected by evolution v. s. based on artifacts and material culture. It was devoted to measuring bodies and skulls, particularly to the biological definition of human races. Primates were not simply shot and dissected; their behavior and ecology were studies in the natural environment as well as in the laboratory. There is a wide variety of approaches e. g. new dating technology and genetic studies. Science is an empirical process (not a result) that relies on evidence and experiment. It is the way that scientist used to answered a question or explain a phenomenon that made science unique. A concluded hypothesis can always be refuted by future data and more experiment. The self-correcting and falsifiability are defining traits of science. Hypothesis formation is the first step of the scientific method. Science is a progressive, self-correcting, evidence-based way of understanding the world.
