I'm starting a Physics course which uses "Physics for Scientistsand Engineers 8th Edition". The most advanced Math I've taken isPrecalculus (functions and trig). I'm taking Cal 1 at the same timeas this Phys and would like to know if I should skip the Phys andwait until I've learned Cal. The Physics book consists of thefollowing:
Part 1: Mechanics
Physics & Measurement
Motion in One Dimension
Vectors
Motion in Two Dimensions
The Laws of Motion
Circular Motion & Other Applications or Newton's Law
Energy of a System
Conservation of Energy
Linear Momentum and Collisions
Rotation of a Rigid Object About a Fixed Axis
Angular Momentum
Static Equilibrium and Elasticity
Universal Gravitation
Fluid Mechanics
Part 2: Oscillations and Mechanical Waves
Oscillatory Motion
Wave Motion
Sound Waves
Superposition and Standing Waves
Part 3: Thermodynamics
Temperature
The First Law of Thermodynamics
The Kinetic Theory of Gases
Heat Engines, Entropy, and the Second Law ofThermodynamics
Sorry about the length but it's an important decision for me. Thankyou.
