Klosterman argues that enhancers are hallucinogens that inspire music to steroids used to strengthen athletes and criticizes those how use it as a form of cheating. No one holds it against the beatles for taking performance enhancing drugs yet people are outraged when professional sports players test positive for drugs. Klosterman"s argument assumes that the beatles quality of music was improved and that their use of drugs was excused universally. He suggests a serious argument about the way our society tolerates performance-enhancing drugs toleration in one sphere should equal toleration in every other atmosphere. Judgements on performance enhancements need to require meaningful distinctions b/w the activities that it"s used for making it consistent to excuse the beatles and condemn professional athletes.
