Study found that alcohol was the most dangerous. Ratio of the lethal dose to the effective dose. Lethal dose minimum dose that will kill 50% of the population. Alcohol = 6, nicotine = 21, aspirin = 199, lsd = 4816. Produced a new chemical in a series of lysergic acid compounds (cid:863)l d (cid:1006)(cid:1009)(cid:863) Testing on animals was proven uninteresting so it was discontinued.
