Francis galton-predictable relationship of height of parents to offspring: regression to the mean-the children weren"t quite as tall or, they regressed back to the average height of the short as the parents sample, regression line. 1: correlation exists whenever 2 variables are associated or related. Positive correlation: a high score on one variable is associated with a high score on the 2nd variable: as one variable increases, the other variable increases. Correlational method was called the method of concomitant.
