1 - redcrosse would most certainly die if it weren"t for una and her bringing of arthur. 2 - they get to the giant"s castle, and arthur tells una to stay while he goes forward to fight. 3 - arthur and squire go to castle; all the doors are locked, so they grab their bugle horn (of wild ox) 4 - it"s super loud, and makes it so the strongest gate cannot stay closed it bursts open. 5 - castle quakes with the opening; giant"s amorous play with duessa is interrupted; he comes out unhappy. 6 - duessa comes, too, with her 7-headed beast who is horridly described; arthur charges forward, ready. 7 - giant begins to fight, and tries to deliver a blow; arthur easily dodges it. 8-9 - giant"s strokes are useless bc they never hit arthur; giant falls due to his own heavy sway, sprawling.
