The antagonism between christians and jews is a direct result of religion, this has to be made impossible by abolishing religion. Emancipation from religion necessary to have true emancipation. If a person is religious, being a citizen takes 2nd place over being a member of the religion. He takes second to the citizen and becomes one in spite of being and wanting to remain a jew his. Jewish and restricted nature always triumphs in end over his human and political obligations (4) Religious privilege is the problem with the separation between religion and state. Standing in opposition to the predominant religion has serious effects on emancipating oneself. Makes a comparison with north america, which has a secular government.
