Some off of their obits and entering earth orbit due to collision of asteroids. Origin: small, fragmented space particles from disintegration of asteroids. Size: ranging from dust- size to a few meters. Meteor: burning meteoroids due to frictional heat from their entrance to earth"s atmosphere. Origin: originated from the oort cloud, deep in the solar system, about 50,000 times the distance between earth and the sun.
