Generally, there has been a recent decline in law school enrollment (11%) Debate intense over whether law schools are lowering heir standards and admitted unquali ed students won are ill equipped to provide competent legal representation. Avg. public law school cost is about ,000. Between 55-60% of applicants admitted to at least 1 law school. Applications based on: gpa, lsat score, letters of ref, personal statement and background. 1st year: contracts, property, civil procedure, torts, legal research and writing, constitutional law, and criminal law and procedure. Specialization in 2nd and 3rd year limited based on what the bar exam is testing on.
