Ideology is a systematic or comprehensive set of values and beliefs (ideas) that provides a way of looking at and understanding the world or some aspect of it. Political ideology consists of ideas about power and how it should be distributed, organized, and used, including the goals to which it directed. Communist ideology was introduced to china in early 20th cent. (karl marx and friedrich engels) the basis of marxism is class analysis- marxists see the world, past, present, and future- the struggle between rich and poor (exploited and exploiters) History is propelled by class struggle and revolution. The timing of revolution in any particular society is determined by its level of economic development and class struggle. Capitalism depended on the complete political, cultural, and economic domination and subjugation of the proletariat. Proletariats are the most revolutionary, therefore revolution was inevitable. Once the proletariat come to power, they would abolish private property, classes would cease to exist.
