Interpretation of dreams (1899), considered one of the classics of twentieth century thought and literature and without a doubt his major contribution to the history of ideas. Both works reflect his abilities as a writer, yet the latter can only be considered a guide to the former and our reading this smaller synopsis of ideas is a concession to the brevity of the summer session. During the regular semester, we do read the lengthy and rich interpretation of dreams, a section of which you will have to refer to in order to set up your dream interpretation project.
