Unconscious (id) : difficult to retrieve material; well below the surface of awareness. Id: inner child; part of the personality that is forever a three year old terrible; the part of you that really wants something and does not care what it has to do to get it. Superego: incredibly moralistic part of the personality; high levels of expectations, morality and appropriateness; Angel (superego) on one shoulder and the devil (id) on the other; center is the ego.
