Document Summary

Bone growth and development: appendicular skeleton=limbs, medullary bones are in birds and they r a calcium flux. If we don"t have structure before muscle then we have nothing to anchor the muscle so we need ligaments tendons and bones to support the muscles. If there is not cell to cell communication of bone cells it will not form correctly. Major tissue differntial growth: scletertome- back bone and rib bones. Bone growth: mesenchymal layer interact and as they condense they start to differtaite from each other. Embryo development: somite plates will eventually form= the myotin layer that become muscle cells, then dermatome layer that becomes the skin layer, then the sclertome layer which will become bone cells. Somite maturation: as the notochord and somite cells are devlopning we have the sclertome layer will start to show it will be bone first. The migratory cells will eventually start to move away from the mesoderm structure.
