Ecosystems: consists of all the living things in a particular area along with the nonliving components in the area with which the living things interact (i. e. soil, water, atmospheric gases, and light). Communities: all of the organisms inhabiting a particular ecosystem. Populations: all the individuals of a specific species within living bounds of a set area. Organs and organ systems: an organ is a part of an organism (consisting of two or more tissues) that carries out a particular function of the entire body.
