When presented with the opportunity for this bonus point project, i instantaneously became nervous about the idea of presenting a chemistry experiment in front of an entire class of students. I was nervous because i was going to have to present an experiment that i was not completely confident about in front of people that could potentially laugh at me or make fun of me. As the semester unfolded, i quickly realized that although i was doing well in the class, having that extra cushion of percentage points could only help me. I also decided that it would probably be a great learning opportunity not only for future chemistry classes, but also for overcoming my fear of public speaking. So, with this in mind, i contacted my friend about participating in the experiment with me. Together, we decided to chose the most welcoming audience we could think of: a kindergarten class.
