Document Summary
My relationship with my coworker began because of task attractiveness. Task attractiveness is when you begin to like associating yourself with a person because they are hard working and goal-oriented. I have known this coworker for about 4 months now. She is a good, hard working and focused individual. A few factors caused this attraction, including power, society, and past relationships. Power influenced this because she has been working there for a little less time than i have. I have been there since we opened so i often find myself showing people the ropes. Since i go out of my way to show people how to work things, i expect them to pay attention and apply the skills. She applied every skill that i taught her and made me feel appreciated. Society influenced this attraction because we work close to campus and we have a lot of student workers there.
