I have begun watching the series finding carter recently. I believe this series portrays all of the components of the systems theory. Wholeness is a unique personality that the entire family embodies, but differing from family member to family member. the wilson family shows a great example of wholeness. Carter wilson was kidnapped when she was younger. Her fingerprints were run throught the database when she committed a minor crime as a teenager. They immediately found out she was the little girl who had been taken several years before. As a teenager, she is returned to her biological family. Her kidnapper, who carter believes is her real mom, was never found. Carter grew up believing somebody else was her mother and was distraught when she was taken away. She finally ends up accepting her real family. Since carter did not grow up with them, this has made a very different identity between each family member.
