Optional materials: student"s guide to chemistry, the central science, 12th ed. , james c. hill, prentice hall. Inc: solutions to red exercises in chemistry, the central science, 13th ed. , prentice hall, inc. This is a general education course meant to introduce students to the basic principles of chemistry. Students are required to take four (4) exams and a comprehensive final exam common to all. If an exam is missed due to a university allowed absence (documentation is required), the missing grade will be prorated with the final exam score. Please note that make up exams will not be given.
