Scared to publish his book because it stated the sun as the center of the solar system which went against the church. T. brahe (1546-1601)- lost his nose in a fight so he stayed dipped off in denmark doing his own thing. Continously kept record of other planets/stars every night. Got an assistant j. kepler (1574-1630)- who inherted all of his work and proved copernicus wrong and that the planets actually went around the sun in elipses not circles. Galileo (1564-1642)- italian physicist who came up with law of inertia.
