Must fill obligations from contracts like: listening to advise, have to lead army into battle: very wealthy, supposed go by gods commandments, nobility: have to fight when asked. They have to buy their own equipment to fight: get certain rights to do certain things, able to live nobly. Expected to have good manners and sit up straight: serfs: have to do dirty work. Do all kinds of labor for noble: you are bound to the land, privileges and precedence, abilities to do things, precedence: your importance to the kingdom, there are hierarchies in towns.
