Liked the idea of a direct hit/getting it done with and coming home. Day because they"re scared russia will soon be out of the war and they are a prominent. Churchill wants to fight a war of attrition- gb doesn"t have the money or resources to fight a war like stalin wants. Churchill wants to meet in germany, while clearing africa.
