Enteric plexuses - nervous system of your gi tract. Sensory receptors - detect stimuli internally and externally. Peripheral nervous system: everything else, contains different neurons. Motor function- motor or efferent, responses to the stimuli. Somatic sensory neurons convey info from joints, skeletal muscles, skin, hearing, taste, smell. Somatic motor neurons- reaction of that information interpreted from the somatic sensory neurons.
