Appendicular skeleton: functions - movement, it includes bones of the upper and lower limbs, girdles that attach the limbs to the axial skeleton. Skeleton of the lower limb - leg: two separate regions, pelvic girdle joined together by pubic symphysis (anterior); join together by sacroiliac (si) joint (posterior, illium, pubus, ichium, free lower limbs. Skeleton of the thigh - femur and patella: femur strongest bone in body, proximally head; articulates with the acetabulum of the hop bone, neck, distally articulates with the tibia and patella, also articulates with patella.
