I believe obesity is more prevalent among lower-income americans because it is more expensive to eat healthy and exercise. First off exercise plans and equipment cost lots of money and also healthy foods cost lots of money because of what"s put in it costs more to make. While on the other hand fatty unhealthy foods are cheaper to make therefore cheaper to buy and look better to a low-income family. Inner city transportation or lack thereof has its pros and cons.
