The manager maker will choose the decision with the highest expected value(ev) where ev=i*p: decision tree: a graphic decision making tool used to evaluate decision involving a series of steps. Program decisions: set up a computer program on how the medicines are arranged in the shelves; annual holiday schedule for employees, set up a computer program to order medicine or equipment when they are out. Advantage: because group include more than one members, they can come up with more better decisions, and once the decision is made, it receive support from all the members. Each member will perceive the decision on their own thus the organization will reach its goal quickly and efficiently. Disadvantage: take too much time to discuss and costly. The similarity of the three technique are that all group members participate in the decision making process, and include several steps before the final decision is reached.
