Phys 2108 and phys 2109 are standalone lab classes for students taking either the phys 200x or phys. The collection of lab activities is chosen to give students a survey of topics in physics likely to be seen in either lecture track. Because the two sequences vary, some activities may be encountered out-of-sequence from your lecture course. The lab supervisor for the course is dr. dana browne, available in rm. See him for any issues or student affairs you cannot resolve first with your ta: supplies. You"ll need a scientific calculator, paper, pencil, and a paper copy of the lab manual. The manual can be purchased at the lsu bookstore. It can also be downloaded as a pdf file from the moodle page and printed at home. You may not use the lab printers to print out the manual: course components. This course has four components that will contribute to your grade:
