Document Summary

More constitutions than anyone else: louisiana mocks constitutions, louisiana doesn"t agree on the constitution like other people see constitutions especially the us constitution. People see constitutions like they are the thing regardless of party that everyone agrees on. Alabama has 538 amendments making it longer: constitutional history- know dates, there are 10 constitutions previous to the one we have, pre-civil war constitutions, 1812 constitutions, was written to join the usa. At the state capital, you can see kentucky joined right before us. It had two big problems: voting (suffrage) was highly restricted, by race, gender, property ownership, length of residency, malapportionment- the legislative districts were unequal. Rural districts had so much power compared to the cities per population. The process was a secession election and new constitution. There are talks that the election was rigged because nola had no many ties to the union with trade.
