Stage 3: lasts a few minutes, transitional stage between light and deep sleep. Night terrors- usually in stage 4 of sleep within 2-3 hours of falling asleep, usually happen with children, heightened sense of being terrified. Basically, what are the effects of sleep deprivation: compare and contrast the theories of why we dream. Think back to the idea of consciousness and awareness. Social influence theory: imaginative actors playing a role. Explain: what is substance abuse, define withdrawal and tolerance.
