So when we have some self-awareness of these things, it will allow us to self- monitor and alto to self regulate our behaviors and emotions so we can attain self and long term goals. It also helps us to be able to better understand how our brain connects with our body so we can perform various tasks. Students face the challenge of knowing which information sources are reliable. Believing in myths such as things that are genetic can result in further problems. People believe this because they think it is common sense. People think that they have a lot of experience with human behavior. That"s like saying everyone that speaks english is going to do great in english courses.
