Although many of these decisions seem to have a negligible impact, other decisions can change the course of our lives. One clear path for improving the quality of our lives involves improving how we think and make decisions. This course covers research that documents how we think and act in the world. Our brains allow us to do many marvelous things, but there are also limitations to our abilities. We will discuss common pitfalls of thinking and decision-making, as well as ways to overcome these obstacles.
