Conversation between two characters on battlefield, arjuna (warrior) and krishna (god) Pandu (arjuna"s father) and dhritavashtra (elder brother of pandu, blind) Pandu is in charge, goes away and leaves brother in charge, pandu dies and arjuna is supposed to be the heir to the throne but dhritavashtra is in charge. Kingdom is separated between the two but pandavas have more success due to better morals. Kauvavas become mad and start a competition, cheat, and the pandavas become exiled for 13 years the gods. Kauvavas then send assassins to kill them but this fails because pandavas are favored by. Battle ensues for the ownership of the kingdom. Battlefield symbolizes- the foundation for righteousness and duty, moral questions everyone confronts. Arjuna can"t fight his family and fulfill his dharma. If he kills family he believes it will destroy his families in the future. Not doing your dharma is worst than killing the family, just killing the body the soul will continue on.
