The devil is theologically confusing and too powerful in the bible. Creation is the ultimate miracle, and to focus on (or even record) the smaller miracles that supposedly happen, reduces the focus on god. The concept that god sent his only son to die on the cross, paints him with human- like characteristics of passion, pain, etc. God should never be described in human terms, and emotions tend to be regarded as weakness. Praying is the concept of telling the almighty that you have a better idea of what should happen. Jesus" sacrifice is a way for people to get out of their problems through another"s suffering. Classical characteristics- omnipotance, goodness, loving, omniscient, omnipresent, unchanging, eternal, impassivity, independent. Biblical characteristics- wrathful and loving, judgment, jealous, forgiving, mournful, contradictions, accepting. The basic idea here is that the god of the bible is seen as a more anthropomorphic deity.
