Those with good health don"t view 60s as old . Later older years- frailty and illness: older years (65+) Macrosociology: broad features of society, conflict theory; functionalism, social context. Microsociology: social interaction, symbolic interactionism, details of everyday life. Macrosociology: significance of social structure: typical patterns of a group, guides our behavior. Culture & social class: culture- determines who we become, social class. Social status & status sets: position of any prestige level that someone occupies.
