SOCL 2001 Chapter : Paper 1 Assignment
Document Summary
Socl 2001 paper assignment #1: observing interactionism at mardi gras. This assignment asks you to spend some time in the near future or over mardi gras break observing socialization, social interaction, or collective behavior related to mardi gras. All of those topics are related to interactionism as it is described in chapter 1 of our textbook. You must be the person to make the observations though (so hearing a description of an event from a friend / family member does not count). After the observations, please write a 2-page paper detailing the following information. Explain where and when you made your observations, describe your observations, and explain why those observations highlight at least one aspect of interactionism that we have discussed in class (a list of potential topics is on the next page). The third part of the suggested organization is very important. This is where you show that you learned something.
