Document Summary
Much easier to reach more people in a faster amount of time. Data that communicates meaning in text, graphic, or other media form. It takes a lot of time, interviewee may lie, some may not be willing to participate, way more time consuming. People don"t use their house phones any more. Clear bias- those with cell phones are typically younger so their views may be skewed. The way you collect your information controls information. Subjective because it goes through the eyes of the person doing the research. Need a highly controlled environment, common in social psychology. Correlation: when two factors chage together, when they are related or change together. Example: positive relation between education and income doesn"t mean that education necessarily. Causes more income, so you can"t say it"s causation . Causation: when a change in one factor causes a change in another factor.
