Symbolic interactionism study how people egotiate the meaning of social life during their intractions with others. The social structure and personality perspective focuses on connections between social structurs and the individual. Group processes studies how basic social process operate in group contexts. From the si perspective, society exists as a network of interactions between people. The individual in society cannot be separated from one another. Individuals are creating society and were also molded by society. Society imposes restrictions on us, but we also have agency, the ability to act and think independently from those constraints. We have control over our social world, and we can make decisions and choices on their own: cohabitation, vaccinations, showing our cultural differences in how we treat adhd. Society exists in a complex series of relationships; we negotiate these relationships internally and externally. We need interaction to help us understand the world around is.
