Main character is brought to ruin: usually through flaw, moral weakness or lack of ability to flow. Thursday, january 22, 2015: character undergo sorrow, but are not completely ruined by it. Music and drama but not a musical: emotional manipulation, think most tv dramas. Horror: music to heighten the mood, came about in the early 19th century. Theatre also has some special genres that go beyond divisions of comedy and tragedy.
