Self: imagining how we look to another person (charles cooley 1972) looking-glass self: our ability to see ourselves as another see"s us. 1 we imagine how we appear to others. 3 we feel hurt or pride based on these self-feelings. *looking-glass self implies the power that labels have on self-concept and behavior.
