Principle-based ethic that understands ethical action as that which is guided by a commitment to reasoned principles. National education association: provides code of ethics for teachers. Positive freedom: people"s ability to actually act as they wish. Freedom: nobody else has the authority to stop you from doing or saying what you want(as long it isn"t infringing upon someone else"s freedom) We need to enforce the ideals of social justice such as equity, fairness and equality. Social constructivists argue that schools actually work to reproduce that status quo of inequity, unfairness and inequality. Kids who go to poor schools receive a poor education, which keeps them poor. If schools continue to reproduce the injustice, things will never change. Anyone who hopes for a better future must realize that future lay in the hands of present-day students. Need to fix the school, to fix the students, to fix the world.
