Process that seeks the development of the whole person in a multitude of knowledge, skills, habits, and attitudes . Democracy is more than just a form of government, it is a primary mode of associated living. Training: the process through which we learn a technique, skill or job. Teacher training: only becomes teacher education when methods are understood in a broader, philosophical, ethical, political, historical and sociocultural contexts. All societies use education from a very young age whether it is teaching a child what is right or wrong, traditions or myths. To be educated involves a lifelong process of learning and growth. To be schooled is a formal process of instruction organized by an institution.
