Thomas paine: ariculated the larger meaning of the struggle with britain to readers focused on ataining their rights, didn"t work hard to fact check and stretched the truth. Crisis: these are the imes that try men"s soul, reports of briish soldiers mistreaing the crown, helped persuade briish oicials to withdraw troops. To spread message, aboliionist created their newspaper (insigator, african observer). Moivaion behind these publicaions was waning to spread anislavery ideology.
