The components of this structure include the organizations purpose, their business strategy, organizational capability, resources, and management system. Misalignment is caused when individuals pursue goals and agendas that are different with each other and do not combine to effectively advance a single purpose. In order to realign the organization the core function must be identified along with accountability and authority. Since communication involves the exchange of information between people it is important to consider how people may perceive what"s said or what is written in different situations. People can listen to the same speech but hear different message. Although there are different forms of communication, there are certain barriers to understanding that must be overcome. Among those barriers are emotional, physical, and semantic barriers.
