Fear and anger were the emotions the participants felt when asked about terrorism. Survey research is measuring the variables that are interested by using self-reports. The participants would be indicating their thoughts, feeling, and behaviors into the survey. It is always better to have a large sample to have accurate data for the population. Survey s length will not matter; it can be short or long. It also can be conducted in person, telephone, online, or mail. The majority of survey research is considered as nonexperimental since it is usually one variable. An example would be the percentage of people that vote democrat over republican. An example of one would be the study by lerner and her colleague.
