Learning- any relatively permanent change in behavior brought about by experience o patience. When people learn anything, some part of their brain is physically changed to record what they"ve learned. Change in behavior refers to past experiences and your feelings towards it. Maturation- changes in height or size of the brain. Ivan pavlov pioneered the study of basic principles of a certain kind of learning. Reflex- an unlearned, involuntary response that is not under personal control or choice. Classical conditioning- learning to make an involuntary response to a stimulus other than the original, natural stimulus that normally produces the response. Unconditioned stimulus- a naturally occurring stimulus that leads to an involuntary and unlearned response in classical conditioning. Unconditioned response- an involuntary and unlearned response to a naturally occurring or unconditioned stimulus. Neutral stimulus- in classical conditioning, a stimulus that has no effect on the desired response prior to conditioning.
