In the beginning of exodus, the israelites are living a horrible life in egypt enslaved by the egyptians. When god realizes he has promised his followers. Abraham, isaac, and jacob a powerful nation to lead, he realizes that he is not living up to his promise and must help his people. When he helps his people, he does so in an extraordinary fashion: he wreaks havoc on the egyptians until they release the. Israelites and when they are released god forces the egyptians to give up clothing, gold, and silver. But the power he gives moses seems too much for him, thus moses does not believe in himself. But god believes in moses and gifts him miracles to perform for the israelites so that they will believe in the lord and moses. However, god told them to keep believing, and that he will force pharaoh to let them go.
